Liam is currently the Deputy Director for International Policy at the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
His role involves coordinating the IPO’s work with overseas partners and at international institutions such as the World Intellectual Property Organisation. Liam joined the Intellectual Property Office in 2016 as Head of Innovation Policy, focussing on university IP commercialisation. In previous roles, Liam worked for the Department for International Development, then going on to international trade policy at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
